It's been months...

I'm sitting here at the top of the monitor...

Why am I back here posting?
Well it seems that Arcangel might be back into trying to learn how to get that Slackware running.
News?

We got a cool Nintendo DSlite... She nows plays happily...
No repaired monitor.
The old PC got another fan working.
In the last months... Arcangel traveled a lot... So that means, almost no money for the PC's.
At least she takes me to her trips sometimes.

Never thought it could be possible...

GEEZ!! FOR ALL THE FLAVORS OF LINUX!!

I can't believe it!
Today, I talked with a kiddo. Arcangel told me that he uses Linux. And he told me he got a stuffed penguin.
Every thing is Ok untill this point.

Untill he typed that poor fella's name.

I mean it!

I haven't met another one like me, rather the other eeediot that is stucked in Arcangel's closet. But I have heard about others... Like Pengie, Mailbox, Penkie, Bismark and Pocket at stuffedpenguins.com

I never thought that someone would name one of us Tux something. Tux is TUX! I could agree if it where a tux plush. But we aren't!

He typed: "It's my firt stuffed penguin xD"
And that is still no good reason for that name!
Arcangel still hasn't gaved the -other one- a name, cuz she hasn't thought of a good one yet.

Anyway, what is new and -really- interesting?

Arcangel is copping important stuff from the old 6gig HDD before the format c: . Now we need another Fan for the Micro. The old one is dead.
We are going for Ubuntu.
We still need to repair a monitor. But Arcangel wants to travel and buy a Nintendo DS. Hence, we are getting no fund for the repair in a while.

Ahh, yeah Arcangel is now a gamer.
A real bad gamer, but gamer at the end.

On Hardware news:
We got a DVD-Writter!
Yipes, I can see the burning sessions of anime about to come!
Also, we got another 80 line IDE cable. Arcangel ruined the first one. And she's thinking about buying another one.
We also got a compressed air can. To keep the CPU's clean. ;)

Things are getting better around here. We also had some sort of Lan Party with Arcangel's neighboor. He brings his laptop and they play Command & Conquer. It's fun to watch them from the top of her monitor. They finish playing around 1am. Lol

Anyway, this will be all for today.

Great news...

Today I was told where my name comes from.
Many EUTS users have bothered Arcangel telling her that my name is quite similar to Ardant's penguin. Ardant's penguin's name is Pengie.

Well, my name is written as: ペンギン And pronounced as: Pengin...
And the meaning is that ペンギン is the word in Japanese for "penguin".

Yes... The translation of my name in english is "penguin".

Well, you couldn't expect less from an Anime-Fan. Now I know why she feeds me with surimi and sushi... .__.

Well, I can't ask for more. I'm unique. I'm a Japanese Stuffed Penguin. In some sort of way.

But I'm not the only one here... u___u
Arcangel got another stuffed penguin. She adores it. It's natural sized! O_O It's been months since that penguin camed and still she hadn't decided on a name. Pathetic...
At least I am glad that, that penguin is not here... It is at her anime-group's house. She says that she might bring it back. Dunno.
Let's see what times got to say...

This is actually a nice place...
It is not as personal as the imitation of a blog Arcangel made me...
But it's better than the place where my imitation of a blog is published....

Anyway...
My old imitation of a blog, is a mess. Datta got lost. And Arcangel doesn't want to recover the data from the backup disks.
So we'll start from scratch in some sort of way.

In the NEWS
Well we still got no Linux running. Thanks all to that Hikari guy. ¬¬ I don't like him. He says Linux and MAC's are a cancer. And that guy is the one who build up the new machine. I agree with the MAC's being a cancer, but not with Linux. ¬¬
We need to repair a monitor so we can have Linux.
Yeah, so we could the old PC. We might install Ubuntu.
But things can get wicked... Arcangel's mom is starting to leanr how to use the internet. And Arcangel wants her moder AWAY from KURONEKO (New PC's name). Hence, she's planning to rebuild her old PC and leave her Mum to use it. So we are going to still have to deal with Windblows 98.

Talker...
We got a talker up an running!
But not the way we would want to.
Arcangel can't edit much stuff. We need the talker in spanish. It is for her Anime group.
Ardant said that he'd share EUTS code as soon as Arcangel gets to translate it. But I have seen nothing.
